Trekking in the Pingo Valley

Torres del Paine off the beaten track

This excursion takes you from Puerto Natales to the Pingo River, to enter a flat trail with slight ups and downs. The walk begins bordering the river and then through forests with the view towards Paine Grande and Cordon Olguin, with a duration of approximately 1 hour and a half you arrive at the viewpoint of the Cascade "Chorrillo Los Salmones" so called for seeing sometimes, salmons jumping down these waterfalls.

The interesting thing about this part of the Torres del Paine National Park is that it can only be entered accompanied by a certified guide, as it was spared from the last forest fires and now precautionary measures, such as limiting the number of visitors, should further protect the part of the park.
