Boat Trip on Lago Grey
Ice masses with the backdrop of the Torres del Paine Mountains
Take an up-close look at the enormous Grey Glacier – which constitutes the end of the Southern Ice Field – while sailing through the Grey Lake, approaching the glacier’s front wall which is divided in two by a central island where you may go ashore for a while. With a little luck, you might even be able to observe floating icebergs or pieces of the ice wall breaking off the glacier and falling into the frigid waters of the lake.
