Restrictions to enter Chile

All individuals entering the country -Chilean or permanent foreigners- must have a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before boarding. If it is more than one flight, it is 72 hours from the last boarding (infants under 2 years of age are excluded).

In addition, a quarantine of 10 days is mandatory, where the first 5 days the traveler will have to stay in a transit hotel, without the possibility of exemption*.

During the hotel stay, a PCR test is required. If the test is negative, the traveler may continue quarantine at his/her private residence from the 6th day onwards. In case of positive test, quarantine will continue in a sanitary residence.

It is important to mention that each person must cover the costs associated** for the transit hotel during the five days, with one exception: if they started their trip on March 27th or earlier.

* Only minors traveling alone may be exempted from quarantine at the transit hotel. The quarantine may be carried out at home.

** The costs will be provided at the time of requesting the international health passport (mandatory) from the website or at the time of entering the country.
