Chile reopens borders to vaccinated foreigners

As of October 1st, Chileans and foreign residents and non-residents can enter and exit the country according to the following:

Entry to Chile

Chileans and resident foreigners

Allowed to enter the country through any open border and must have a sworn statement obtained at C19.cl and a negative PCR test (taken 72 hours before boarding).

Non-resident foreigners

To enter Chile must have a 'Pase de Movilidad' (obtained by validating* vaccination at Mevacuno.gob.cl), a sworn statement (C19.cl), a negative PCR test (taken 72 hours prior to boarding) and a travel medical insurance with US$30,000 coverage.

Entry is through the airports of Iquique, Antofagasta and Santiago (Arturo Merino Benítez airport).

* Validating the vaccination may take up to 30 days.

Leaving Chile

Chileans and foreign residents who have:

Pase de Movilidad (does not include minors without this document) or Exceptional Permit obtained at Comisaría Virtual for any of the four established reasons.

The exit is through any border enabled for the transit of people or airports of Iquique, Antofagasta and Arturo Merino Benitez in Santiago.

Foreigners not residing in Chile may exit through any of the aforementioned border crossings.
