Good news for all travellers arriving in Chile!

As of 1 November, people with a 'Pase de Movilidad'* or a vaccination approval certificate will be able to terminate their quarantine upon receiving a negative result of a PCR test taken in Chile. The result of this test, which is applied to all people entering through Santiago airport, is available after 4 to 48 hours.

The following documents are still required to enter Chile:

  • Mobility pass* (recognised vaccination).
  • Health declaration (online form, to be completed 48 hours prior to entry)
  • Negative PCR test, taken 72 hours max. before entry.

Those who do not have a 'Pase de Movilidad', regardless of their age, nationality or residence, must undergo compulsory quarantine at home for 7 days, as well as their cohabitants.

In all cases, everyone must comply with a 10-day follow-up by the health authority, which includes daily self-reporting of the traveller's health status and location.
