Visiting national parks in Chile

The holiday season has begun, bringing summer to the southern hemisphere and making Chile the ideal destination for your next trip. To explore the stunning landscapes offered by Chile's national parks, there are a few things to keep in mind.

To visit these natural wonders, you will need tickets, which are easy to obtain through the official website PasesParques.cl.

The platform provides access to more than 100 parks and protected areas that require an entry fee. These include renowned national parks, nature reserves, and natural monuments such as Torres del Paine, Conguillío, and Vicente Pérez Rosales, as well as protected areas like El Morado and Pingüino de Humboldt.

For highly visited parks like Torres del Paine, Huerquehue, or Queulat, tickets must be purchased in advance, which is generally also possible on the same day. Unfortunately, the website is currently only partially available in English; the reservation and payment pages are displayed exclusively in Spanish.

Most tickets are valid for one day, with the exception of some parks like Torres del Paine, where tickets are available for 1–3 days or more than 3 days.

Here are the prices for the most visited parks. These prices apply to foreign adults (18 years and older).
