The Pan American and Parapan American Games 2023 are coming!

The Pan American Games Santiago 2023 are ready to become the largest multi-sport event in the history of Chile.

Between October 20th and November 5th, around 7,000 athletes from across the continent will come together for an exciting competition that will serve as a significant qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

As the date approaches, the country is preparing its most prominent venues to welcome participants and spectators. The heart of these Pan American Games will be the Estadio Nacional, an impressive legacy that Santiago 2023 will leave behind. Around this iconic stadium, which hosted the final of the 1962 FIFA World Cup, a multidisciplinary sports complex has been built, featuring 12 venues for 20 different sports.

On the other hand, located at the foothills of the majestic Andes Mountains, is the Parque Peñalolén, a space originally created for the 2014 South American Games, recognizable from afar thanks to the dome of the velodrome, a symbol of Chilean Olympism. In Santiago 2023, this park will be the venue for five sports disciplines.

The Parque O'Higgins, considered one of the green lungs of the Metropolitan Region, the Parque Metropolitano on San Cristóbal Hill, one of the largest urban parks in Latin America, and the beautiful beaches of Viña del Mar and Pichilemu on the outskirts, will also be key locations in this great sporting competition.
