Excellent news for tourists arriving in the country!

As of September 1, 2022, travelers will no longer need a validation for the Covid-19 vaccines.

  • Tourists may enter with the proof of vaccination issued at the place of origin.
  • This certificate, along with the passport, is equivalent to the Mobility Pass, which allows entry to hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, among others.
  • If the passenger does not have a vaccination schedule, in order to enter Chile he/she must present a negative PCR result within 48 hours of departure from the place of origin.
  • To travel domestically, the tourist without a vaccination certificate must present a negative PCR test of less than 48 hours.
  • The requirement to complete form C19 is also eliminated.
  • Random testing of tourists entering the country will continue to be carried out.

All of the above does not apply to minors under 18 years of age, who do not have any requirement to enter Chile.

* Check here the requirements for entries until August 31.
