ContactChile donates 120 trees to FairChile

Inevitably, every tourist leaves a trail at the place he has been to. That may be from the emissions of his vehicle, energy consumption, waste production and so on.

FairChile is an organization which is determined to make up for this damage, especially for the CO2 pollution. Therefore, and in cooperation with other supporters, they plant native trees in Chilean natural reserves.

Did you know? A grown tree can transform 7kg of CO2 per day into timber, leaves and humus.

At ContactChile, we feel obliged to take care of our environment and are eager to find ways to keep our “trail” as small as possible. For this reason, we decided to support the initiative and donated 120 trees to the project “One Tourist, One Tree”.
