Daesha is from NYC and has lived and traveled in several countries before settling in Santiago. She studied Anthropology at Syracuse University and has worked in a broad spectrum of industries. She enjoys hiking, art, and chatting over a beer. Before coming to work at ContactChile she taught English and did translations.

Dörte, touristic assistant from Berlin, studied Tourism & Travel Management in Worms, Germany. Her passion for travelling brought her to Chile for an exchange semester in 2007. At ContactChile she was hired after doing an internship in 2008.

Claudia is a professional actress and translator for English and French with work experience in Chile, France, Canada and the UK. She has worked in different areas, however her strongest passions are arts and intercultural relations. Claudia is part of our team since 2009.

Andrea was born in Thuringia/Germany and is graduated in Economics and Languages. Due to an internship she first came to Chile in 2008 and totally felt in love with the Chilean culture. Before starting to work at ContactChile in May 2012, she was employed as a Marketing Assistant.

Jana studied Public Administration in Münster, Germany. Her interest in cultures and languages was formed in her early childhood, living in Lagos/Nigeria. After an internship at ContactChile in 2009 she re-integrated our team in 2010.

Laura always has been fascinated by foreign cultures. After studying in Germany and Russia she has been working in the field of cultural management. Since March 2012 Laura has been in charge for the language courses, internship placement and the ContactMundo exchange programmes at ContactChile.

Born in Chile and raised in Sweden, Marjorie has lived and traveled in various parts of the world. Studied political science and languages at Stockholm University and at universities in Australia and France. She came to Chile in 2009 to get to know her roots.

Caroline, born in the north of Germany, studied International Communication and Translation. She has visited Chile several times, always wishing to stay a bit longer one day. As an intern, she supports us in the Marketing area.

Tanja comes from Thun, Switzerland where she studied hotel management. She loves foreign languages and the contact with persons from all over the world. She worked in the hotel industry until love took her to Chile. She is part of the ContactChile team since 2010.

Marcelo was born and raised in Santiago de Chile and studied business administration at Universidad Diego Portales. Due to his passion for travelling and intercultural exchange he came to work at ContactChile where he is in charge of finances.

Camila is Chilean and is studying Auditing at the Universidad de las Américas in Santiago. After an internship at ContactChile in 2011 she stayed and is now working in the financial area.

Malte Sieber, raised near Berlin where he studied German and English at Humboldt University, is a journalist and publisher. Living in Chile since 1992, he ran a German language weekly for several years and has edited a variety of tourism-related publications. In 2000 he founded ContactChile Gestiones Interculturales and has been its General Manager since then.

Rossana Vidal was born and raised in Santiago. She comes to us from the world of theater, where she worked as an actress and director/producer. She gained intercultural experience during several theater internships in Germany. As an associate of ContactChile Gestiones Interculturales, she supervises the housing area.
