Which qualifications should you provide?

The requirements differ from job to job. Generally, you should be 18 or older and have a good knowledge of the English language. Spanish and any other language knowledge is a plus, sometimes even a requirement in order to be able to communicate with guests or colleagues. Furthermore it is important that you enjoy being in contact with people from different countries and are open to new experiences.

How long is the duration of the job?

Nearly all working holiday positions are offered only during high season in Chilean summer, that is from October through April. The exact duration of your working holiday experience depends on the employers, but the minimum oftentimes is 3 months.
