In Puerto Montt, located a 1000 kilometers south of Santiago
at a broad Pacific bay, you can smell the fresh breeze
of the Patagonia. Over
the bay, several snow-capped volcanoes rise their head,
meanwhile ships and boats of all kinds form a lively picture
in the port, and frehs fish and mariscos are served in
the restaurants. Despite of its 100,000 inhabitants, Puerto
Montt has preserved the charme and friendliness of a small
town.
The School
The courses take place in a small international guesthouse
right above the port. A Chilean woman and her multilingual
family manage this cosy place. The course is combined
with accommodation. You may use the kitchen and practice
your Spanish at the same time in a familiar and hospitable
atmosphere.
The Spanish Lessons
The Spanish classes are less rigid than in a genuine language
school, but this is more than compensated by the cordiality
and the individual focus. An experienced professional
teacher imparts the lessons which are in small
groups or, if there are not enough particpants
of the same level, one-to-one.
Classes are on six days of the week (Mon-Sat) with two
units (90 mins.) in the morning and two in the afternoon.

to several national parks
with jungle-like native forests and volcanoes, as well
to the mythical island of Chiloé. The owners of the guesthouse
also organize very special tours in sea
kayak through the fjords and channels of Northern
Patagonia. Individual travelers will easily find company
for these and other excursions.
