Fees
When renting a room, our agency's fee depends on the rental amount and the length of your stay. It is charged only once at the beginning, at the latest when renting the room. There is no extra fee in case you change accomodation during the agreed rental time.
Why is there an agency fee?
ContactChile, as a private mediator organization, does
not receive any subsidies from governmental or other institutions.
This is why we have to finance our broad intercultural
service by means of an agency fee. Not only do we choose
the apartments with care, and give you a well documented
written description with pictures, but we also offer you
qualified and knowledgeable advice on the advantages and
disadvantages of a certain place or neighbourhood, on
public transport and safety considerations. We act as a mediator in case of any invonvenience
during your stay. The agency fee allows us to maintain
the jobs of our team and to run our office in Santiago.
It also covers the operational costs of our services,
the maintainance of this website and other PR efforts. Finally, we will send you a weekly newsletter via e-mail containing information about cultural, sport and turistic activities in and around Santiago.

The monthly fee is for reference only. When renting a room the total commission
fee is charged in advance. In case you prolong the stay, the commission fee will be charged again like a new rental, with a discount of 10%. This discount may not be added to the student discount.

- We will mediate
if you encounter problems with your landlord/landlady
and will offer you another option without extra fees,
if necessary.

with cultural activities and excursions for you.
