The Pope visits Chile

Pope Francis will visit Santiago, Temuco and Iquique during his sixth trip to Latin America from the 15th to the 18th of January, as the Vatican officially announced. Afterwards he travels to Peru.

Please note that restrictions on travels are expected on these days. In the centres of the respective cities, road blockades and delays can occur.

Programm overview:

15.01. Arrival in Santiago (evening)
16.01. Santiago
Activities: Visit of the governmental palace of La Moneda, the Sanctuary of Father Alberto Hurtado (Santuario) and the Cathedral on the main square, then Holy Mass in O' Higgins Park.
17.01. Temuco
18.01. Iquique
