Since 2008 a theater festival, which also offers various workshops in dance, film and acting, takes place in southern Chile. The goal is to bring art into the cities outside of Santiago and to provide to the inhabitants of Patagonia a cultural offer. The organizers of the theater festival are looking for motivated, culture interested interns, who are interested to be part of the team from the beginning of January to mid February 2011 .

The work includes, for the first two weeks organizational tasks in Santiago and then direct assistance at the festival in the different cities of Patagonia During the time in southern Chile you get for your work free accommodation and food as well as transfers to the different festival locations and to the airport.

A quarterly magazine in English and Spanish about the people and nature of the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina is searching for young motivated journalism interns for the following tasks and responsibilities: helping to translate articles; maintaining the web page (posting online articles, maintaining photo galleries, more); creating and maintaining Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites for the magazine; producing journalistic articles; and assisting editors and writers with research and other needs.

The following qualifications are needed to apply; good computer, writing and research skills as well as an intermediate level of Spanish and English. A passion for Patagonia, the environment, travel, or the outdoors is a plus. The ideal candidate will be reliable, a fast-learner, and able to work independently. An ideal candidate might also have some journalism experience.

The internship starts asap and should last at least 5 months.

You have to do a compulsory internship abroad in order to finish your tourism studies? Then this internship placement perfectly suits your needs! The renowned and experienced tour operator situated at the foot of the Osorno volcano provides its services to travel agencies in Europe, USA and Australia. The young and international team offers interns the chance to get to know the company and to work on the base of travel orientated topics during a time span of 6 months. As an intern you will work in the booking department in the following fields:

• price calculation and quotation
